Cáscara, meaning ‘skin’ or ‘husk’ in Spanish, is the outer shell of the coffee cherry. Ours is harvested and sun-dried in El Salvador and brewed similarly to tea. Cáscara has intense tasting notes of earthy rose hips, tamarind, and sweet hibiscus. Its loaded with flavor, vitamins, natural sugars, and antioxidants.

HOT Preparation: Heat water to 200º F, place 3 tbsp of Cascara in 10oz heated water. Steep 4 min and enjoy!
COLD Preparation: Place 6 tbsp of Cascara in 12oz cold water, Steep for 12-16 hours, strain over ice, garnish with fresh mint or a lemon slice and serve.
